Here is a list of some very useful online tools that allows you to check your website's optimization for Search Engines, Accessibility, HTML errors and links density. I would strongly recommend to use these online tools before submitting your website for a review (and not only for my award!).

Online Code Validators. The following online tools are checking your code (HTML / XHTML) for accuracy and possible errors and warnings
• WDG HTML Validator - Enter the URL of an HTML document to validate. Quickly validate multiple URLs. Alternatively, you can validate files on your computer or enter your HTML directly.
• W3C Validator - Validate files by upload from your computer or by URL.
• Alpine HTML Doctor - Identifies common HTML code errors, corrects the code, and generates a repaired file for you to upload. The HTML Doctor is provided without charge.
• Page Valet - Validates in SGML/HTML Parse Mode and supports XML Options.


Online Accessibility Test . Check your pages for accessibility levels, which critical to improving the reach of your website, and see if it meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
(Bobby) WatchFire WebXact - WebXACT is a free online service that lets you test single pages of web content for quality, accessibility, and privacy issues.
Cynthia Says - Web content accessibility validation solution, it is designed to identify errors in your content related to Section 508 standards and/or the WCAG guidelines.
HiSoftware Validation - Chart for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 1.0), provides requirements and remediation, as to how accessibility can be reached.
WAVE 3.0 Accessibility Tool - Test your website by direct URL input or upload.
Colorblind Web Page Filter - Allows Image Filtering, Non-GIF Image Filtering and Filtering of Broken CSS Colors.

Online Meta Tags and SE Optimization check. These tools allow you to check how perfectly your website has been optimized for the search engines... This includes Meta Tags check, page weight, loading speed and other aspects which separate between "spider friendly" and well optimized website and those which, as a result of bad optimization, give less impressive results in Google and other SE.
Web Page Analyzer - Free Website Performance Tool and Web Page Speed Analysis
Meta Tag Analyzer - Analyzes each of your pages, provides tips on how to improve your Meta Tags, checks file size and loading time, checks URLs and links found on the page as well as web server operating system where site is hosted.
Widexl Meta Tag Analyzer - This script analyze not only the Meta Tags but try to use the same spider technology as the spiders them self.


Online CSS validator. Check your CSS ( Cascading Style Sheet) for errors, invalid lines
• WDG CSSCheck - Validate your Style sheet by direct code input or URL of the .css file. (Note: CSSCheck is primarily a CSS1 checker. Many CSS2 properties are supported, but new CSS2 selectors will generate errors.)
W3C CSS Validation Service - Checks Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) in (X)HTML documents or standalone for conformance to W3C recommendations Validate by URL, file upload or direct input.
High Dots CSS Validator - Validate your CSS by direct input or by downloading the free CSS Style studio editor.


Online Links Checker. Test your website for links density, remember that excess of broken links can result a disqualification in some awards program.
• Dead Links Check- Put your website or weblog home page URL in the input box and a little spider will read the html code and check for the broken links.
Bad Link - Scan your website for "404"s - those annoying "page not found" errors. Please note: the link checker only searches for 404s (broken links), and will not check links in Flash or Frames.
W3C Link Checker - Check for broken links by URL input.

Online Contrast test. There should be a good contrast between your background and your text. Feel free to use Juicy Studio and analyze this aspect of your design, if you have doubts.
