Failure to comply with the following rules will result automatic disqualification. No exceptions will be made, so please read through this page to avoid disappointment later.

• First of all, for art-oriented sites -- artistic nudity is allowed, however, this should be purely artistic. No rude, offensive, discriminative, racial, adult or vulgar material will be accepted. No cruelty against animals / humans in any form. Your site must be child safe, i.e. labelled with ICRA or Safe Surf or any other similar label. No mater how artistic, it should be suitable for all ages and nations. Moreover, you must not link to websites that offer any material of an offensive nature.

• When it comes to art and design, the biggest crime is plagiarism and copyright violation. We would under no circumstances review any website that has no copyright statement or which leaves a doubt about the origin and legality of the displayed and offered material.

• Good site, is a site that offers consistent and easy navigation. Site map is also a very good way to offer an alternative navigation to guests that struggle to find a particular page on your site. If you do not offer at least some sort of menu on all pages, you will not qualify for a review.

• Every website must have its main theme and clean purpose. Will we know right away what your website is going to be about, what will it represent, or does it offer randomly gathered items, pictures and articles and with no particular connection? Even though main score is dedicated to design, these kind of sites will not qualify, as we seek websites with clean mission.

^ Top ^ • Even if you display only artworks, it shouldn't be a mere gallery of images. Will we find information about the author, maybe your comments on the works, and other factors, related to the website, which will pour more light on your artistic nature? We always want to be introduced to your background, so sites with no written content at all, will not qualify.

• In order to qualify for a review, we should be able to read the content of your website. Other than English, we will also review sites written in the Russian and Hebrew language. Auto translation is not acceptable, and we will only "omit" up to 5 misspellings.

• We would disqualify websites that have a horizontal scrollbar at 1024*768 resolution. We would be more pleased to see no scroll bar at 800*600 either, as it causes inconvenience to the surfers with small monitors, however, taking into account today's resolution standards, disqualification would only be a result of scroll bar at 1024*768.

• Website that have more than 1 broken image per 50 pages of content, will not pass the initial qualification. We expect you to check each of your pages, before submitting it for a review.

• If you apply for an award, we assume you are planning to display it, and therefore we would expect to find an 'awards won' page, even if you have not achieved any award yet, you can still created these pages for the future and leave them empty for now.

• Well organized website is under a constant process of updating, nevertheless, you must not have "under construction" pages or "coming soon" sections. We want to see a finished site, and not a work in progress.

• We will be evaluating the source code, so please do not disable the right-mouse-click, because it will make impossible for us to review your coding abilities.

^ Top ^ • In order to qualify for an evaluation, we would want to see at least 10 pages of original content, excluding guest book, privacy policy, copyright, splash page, email form, awards won, links exchange, web rings pages and such. This also applies to stand-alone Awards Programs -- we want to see more than just an application form.

• Quality sites, which take responsibility over their content, offer an option to contact the webmaster. We would expect to find the option of emailing the site's owner or webmaster on each page. And, since you collect personal information, you ought to have a Privacy Policy that will clarify to the visitor, what will happen with his data and personal information.

• Webmasters from the U.S.A. should comply with COPPA rules and not collect information from children under the age of 13.

• Anyone should be able to browse your website without having to register or give any personal info. Password protected pages, forums or "members area" are not eligible.

• Sites such as MSN spaces, blogs, web journals, online image galleries, group pages, forums, profiles and such will not be reviewed.

• Bandwidth stealing, i.e. linking your images / files to someone else's server is not acceptable. We all pay for our own bandwidth and don't want to see it slipping through our fingers without our knowledge.

• Last, but definitely not least: if you claim HTML / XHTML / CSS validation or any of the accessibility levels (by displaying the W3C, Syntia Says or other badges) while not delivering error free code or / and the claimed accessibility level, we would not review your website.
